Graduate Studies

Interested In Graduate Studies?

Students interested in graduate studies at the Ph.D. or Masters level with the UBC Geriatric Dentistry Program should visit the University of British Columbia Graduate Studies page for information on requirements and applications.

The minimum admission requirements to the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of B.C. are:

  • A bachelor’s degree or recognized comparable qualification from an accredited university-level institution;
  • Acceptable academic standing;
  • Sufficient undergraduate background to carry out graduate work in a chosen field.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies always receives more applications than the number of places available for students, so satisfying these minumum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Graduate studies in the behavioural sciences and other disciplines usually relating to community care can be pursued through the Interdisciplinary Studies Program of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Further details on the M.Sc.& Ph.D. programs in the Faculty of Dentistry can be obtained from the research and graduate studies secretary Vicky Koulouris or by visiting www.dentistry.ubc.ca/education.
